Aaron Green

Aaron Joe Green, one of seven children of Howard Joe Green and Barbara Ann (Umphreys) Green, was born in Council Bluffs, IA on May 2, 1980. He grew up in Glenwood and Pacific Junction, IA and graduated from the Glenwood Community High School in 1998. Aaron worked for several area businesses, including the Mid America Motor Plex in Pacific Junction, a medical cleaning company in Omaha, NE and most recently, J&O's Lawn Service.
Aaron was passionate about the outdoors. He enjoyed archery, bow hunting for deer, and made his own arrows and knives. His best archery trophy was a 14-point, near 330 lb. whitetail buck. He was a collector of daggers and swords and enjoyed learning about local Native American cultures. He also liked to read Stephen King and J.R.R. Tolkien books. Aaron loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed being an uncle to his nine nieces and nephews.
Aaron died on May 31, 2008, at the age of 28 years and 29 days. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Ruth Green, and his Aunt Patricia Patton. He is survived by his parents, Howard and Barbara Green of Pacific Junction; brothers, Andrew Green and wife Angela of Omaha, Samuel Green and fiancA(c) Tonya Hartley of Glenwood, and Luke Green of Pacific Junction; sisters, Rachel Quinn and husband Chuck of Omaha, Beth Wheeler and husband Seth of Kansas City, MO, and Amanda Green of Pacific Junction; grandparents, James and Joan Umphreys of Council Bluffs, IA; nine nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
