Alma Kelly, 82, of Silver City, IA passed away at her home on Monday, January 29, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service and will begin at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs, IA. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Alma and her family.

Alma Kelly, 82, of Silver City, IA passed away at her home on Monday, January 29, 2024
Alma Irene McCormick, daughter of Albert and Eva (Jensen) McCormick, was born on February 9,1941 in Council Bluffs, IA. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson in Council Bluffs. She married Paul Joseph Kelly. The couple was blessed with five children Thomas, Patrick, Diana, Andrew and Paul II.
Alma enjoyed singing and playing the guitar; crocheting, cooking, but most of all loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and grandson Paul Joseph Kelly III.
Alma is survived by her children, Thomas Kelly of Omaha, NE, Patrick Kelly of Council Bluffs, Diana Kelly of Glenwood, IA, Andrew Kelly of Silver City, and Paul Kelly II of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sister Eva McCormick of Council Bluffs; other relatives and a host of many friends.
