Andrew Douglas Turner

Andrew Turner, 65, of Council Bluffs, IA, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on May 5, 2016 at the Fox Run Assisted Living Community in Council Bluffs. As per the wishes of his family, cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Fox Run Assisted Living Chapel in Council Bluffs. Loess Hills Funeral Home of Glenwood in charge of arrangements.

Andrew Douglas Turner was born on October 4, 1950 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Walter and Phyllis (Dooley) Turner. He was a high school graduate and received his B.A. from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. Andrew had worked in medical transcription for the Lincoln Life Insurance Company.

In 2011, Andrew became a resident at Fox Run in Council Bluffs. He was preceded in death by his father.

Andrew is survived by his mother Phyllis Turner of Madison, WI; sister Amy (Larry) Whitehouse of Pacific Junction, IA; brother Matthew Turner (Rebecca Turner May) also of Madison; and the residents and staff at Fox Run.
