Antoinette “Netty” Everson 68, of Glenwood, IA, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Carson Cemetery. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Netty and her family.

OBITUARY
Antoinette “Netty” Everson 68, of Glenwood, IA, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE.
Netty was born on July 9, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter and one of four children of Arnold Sylvester and Rose Rita (Duggan) Kurt. Netty and Ames Patrick Everson were united in marriage on January 15, 1977 in Council Bluffs, IA. The couple was blessed with two children, Sarah and Patrick. The couple lived in Glenwood since 2002. She worked as a 911 dispatcher for Mills County for 12 years.
Netty enjoyed camping and fishing, loved to watch football especially the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Green Bay Packers, spending time reading and enjoyed gardening. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family, grandkids and friends.
Netty was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Ames in 2021.
Netty is survived by her daughter Sarah (Bob) Escritt of Emerson, IA; son Pat (Manda) Everson of Omaha, NE; two precious granddaughters, Grace and Savannah; siblings, Tom Kurt of San Diego, CA, Jackie (Torrence) Golden of Oceanside, CA and Nick (Jane) Kurt of Omaha, NE; other relatives and many special friends.
