Betty May Killion

Betty May Killion, 87, of New Lenox, Illinois, passed away November 6, 2013. She was born May 15, 1926 in Carson, IA to the late Wallace and Mary (Braden) Will. She resided in New Lenox since moving to Illinois in September 1968. Betty graduated from Carson High School in 1945. She married Neil Killion on August 8, 1945. Neil went into the Army until 1947. They had two children, Susan and Wallace. Neil passed away November 15, 1994. He had transferred from Northern Natural to Hydro-Carbon transportation in Lemont, IL.

Betty is survived by her children Susan (Alan) Steen of Elk Horn, IA, and Wally Killion of New Lenox, IL; her grandchildren Nikki (John) Bricker, IA, Mindi (Clifford) Fincham of North Carolina and Nathan (Ellie) Steen of Dominican Republic; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Alice Falk of Carson, IA and Martha Rocky of California; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-sister JoAnne Connell, her sisters, Helena Belcher, Thelma Markos, and Neoma Paul; her brothers Arthur Will, Mervin Will and Walter Will.
