Brandon Oman, 38, of Glenwood, IA, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 in Glenwood.

Celebration of Life Gathering for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory, 1221 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Brandon and his family.

Memorials: Per the family's request, in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for daughter Isabelle.

Obituary

Brandon Michael Oman was born on July 28, 1987 in Oceanside, CA, the son of Mark Lynn and Debra Ann (Murphy) Oman. He attended school and was employed at I-29 Repair in Pacific Junction, IA, as a mechanic and welder.

Brandon and Stevie Marie Rockwell were married on August 28, 2021.

Brandon loved to hunt and fish, especially deer hunting with his dad. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, and loved being with his family Stevie and Izzy. Brandon was a wonderful son, brother, husband, dad, and a good friend to all who knew him.

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Dr. William D. Murphy; paternal grandma Sharon Oman; his uncle Michael Oman; and later his wife Stevie Oman.

Brandon is survived by daughter Isabelle; parents, Mark and Debra Oman of Treynor, IA; brothers Josh Oman and fiancée Brittany Kraft of Council Bluffs, IA and William Snelling of Vancouver, WA; Stevie’s family; his coworkers at I-29 Repair; and by many special friends.
