Charles W. Clark

Charles William Clark, one of five children of Geraldine Elaine (Fort) and Marion Robert "Bud" Clark, was born on June 16, 1938 in Hastings, Iowa. He grew up and attended the Strahan School. Charles served in the United States Army. He later worked as a farm laborer and at a grain elevator in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Charles moved to Red Oak in 1970 and worked as a maintenance worker for the Super Suds Car Wash in Red Oak before his retirement.

Charles passed away on December 31, 2009 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak. He attained the age of 71 years, 6 months, and 15 days, and was preceded in death by his father Bud Clark in 2003; and brother Tom Clark in 1999.

Charles is survived by his mother Geraldine Clark of Red Oak, formerly of Malvern, IA; sisters, Elaine Campbell and husband Robert of Lincoln, NE, and Janice VanMeter and husband Harold of Red Oak; brother Steve Clark of Centennial, CO; and other relatives.
