Charles Whitmer

Charles Whitmer, 82, of Pacific Junction, IA passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the CHI Health Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. Charles Arthur Whitmer, son of Norris and Mabel (Massey) Whitmer, was born on October 3, 1941 in Azuza, CA. He enlisted in the National Guard. On December 27, 1964 he married Colleen Beener in Omaha, NE. The couple was blessed with a daughter April.
Chuck enjoyed collecting stamps and coins, working in the yard especially his flowers and garden and even finding time to enjoy woodworking.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and brother Tom Whitmer.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Colleen; daughter April Blake and her husband Paul of Pacific Junction, IA; brother James Whitmer of Oklahoma City, OK; niece and honorary grandchild, Makensey Pankers, of Omaha, NE; other relatives and a host of many special friends.
