Connie Sue Darnold, 76 of Malvern, IA, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Nebraska Medicine in Bellevue. Visitation with family present will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern is caring for Connie and her family.

OBITUARY
Connie Sue Darnold, 76 of Malvern, IA, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Nebraska Medicine in Bellevue.
Connie was born on June 7, 1945 in Malvern, the daughter of Henry Edward and Glenda Leone (Bloom) Miller. Connie grew up in Malvern and graduated from the Malvern High School in 1963.
Connie and Francis Jay Darnold were united in marriage on September 19, 1964 in Coin, Iowa. They made their home on a farm northwest of Malvern and were blessed with four children, Kenneth, Michael, Allen, and Susan.
Connie was a busy homemaker and mother. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crocheting, gardening, and attending country music jams. Connie loved spending time with her family, who were her pride and joy. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; brother Robert Miller; and sisters, Jean Evans and Maxine Weilenman.
Connie is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Francis Darnold of Malvern; sons, Kenneth Darnold (Shannon Mielke Bomer) of Emerson, IA, Michael (Lisa) Darnold of Malvern, and Allen "AJ" (Paula) Darnold of Glenwood, IA; daughter Susan (Greg) Peterson of Glenwood, IA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Stella (James) Page of Shenandoah, IA; brother Thomas Miller of Illinois; stepbrothers, Carrol (Anne) Golding of Rogue River, OR, and Mark (Bobbie) Golding of Orem, UT; and other relatives and friends.
