Darrell Lynn Rollins

Darrell Lynn Rollins, son of Harold Wayne Rollins and Lois Lorraine (Wilber) Rollins, was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 27, 1942. Darrell grew up in Carson, Iowa and graduated from Carson High School in 1959. Following high school, Darrell lived in Macedonia, Iowa and worked local construction and drove a truck.
Darrell and Judy Faye Warren were married on July 19, 1963. They made their home in Macedonia and were blessed with two children, Clinton Todd and Darcy DeAnn.
Darrell enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and was a great fan of Nascar.
Darrell died at his home on February 28, 2005 at the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 1 day.
He is survived by his parents Harold and Lois Rollins of Carson, Iowa; son Clinton Rollins of Ekalaka, Montana; daughter Darcy Story and husband Tyran of Hastings, Iowa; sisters Darla Harrill and husband Porter of Carson, Donna Blatny and husband Robert of Carson, and Roxann Strong and husband David of Westphalia, Iowa; brother Dwayne Rollins of Carson; and step-grandson Tylor Story; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home, 420 South Oak, Carson, IA on Thursday, March 10 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M. Burial will take place in the Carson Cemetery on Friday, March 11 at 10:30 A.M. www.hertzfuneral.com
