David Carter

David W. Carter, age 43, of Clearlake, California and formerly of Macedonia, Iowa.

David W. Carter, one of nine children of Lowell Thomas Carter and Ruby Jean (Higgins) Carter, was born at Council Bluffs, Iowa on October 14, 1963. The youngest Carter children moved with their mother to Parnell, Missouri and later to Clearlake, California where David completed his education. David was a lifelong custodian for the Konocti Unified School District at Lower Lake, California. He died on May 17, 2007 at his home in Clearlake after suffering a heart attack. He had attained the age of 43 years, 7 months, and 3 days. David was preceded in death by her father Lowell Carter, stepfather William Harrison; mother Ruby Harrison; brothers Lowell Carter and Randall Carter. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy Buse and husband Gary of Bellevue, Nebraska, Cinda Frain and husband Jerry and Grace Eyberg and husband Rick all of Carson, Iowa; brothers Marvin Carter and wife Donna of Oakland, Iowa, James Carter and wife Mary of Carson, Iowa, and Lee Carter of Clearlake, California, nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Private graveside services were held May 26, 2007 at the Macedonia Cemetery.
Hertz Funeral Home of Carson were in charge of arrangements.
