David Joseph Jay

David Joseph Jay, Jr, one of six children of Sally Ann (Baloun) and David Joseph Jay, Sr., was born on November 28, 1956 in Staples, Minnesota. David worked as a construction laborer and was a "jack of all trades".

David and Pamela Grace Curtis were married on July 7, 1979 in Omaha, Nebraska and their marriage was blessed with three children, David Joseph, Lucas Paul, and Samantha Page.

David enjoyed wood carving, flying remote controlled helicopters, fishing, and playing the guitar. He loved being a dad and grandpa.

David passed away at his Glenwood home on January 15, 2013, at the age of 56 years, 1 month, and 17 days.

David is survived by his parents; wife Pam of Glenwood; sons, David "DJ" and Lucas, both of Council Bluffs, IA; daughter Samantha of Omaha, NE; grandson Cameron; and siblings, Cathy, Susette, Patty, Greg, and Jenny; other relatives; and many friends.

Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Mills Masquers in Glenwood from 3 to 5 pm. Memorials may be sent to the David Jay, Jr Memorial Fund, 207 N Grove Street, Glenwood, IA 51534.
