Donald Sargent

Donald Sargent, age 77, of Buena Vista, CA, formerly of Carson, IA. Donald died at West Anaheim Medical Center in Anaheim, CA on Wednesday, April 22, 2009.

Donald Eugene Sargent, the son of Olen Alva Sargent and Edith May (Meneffee) Sargent, was born on April 27, 1931 in Council Bluffs, IA. He graduated from Carson High School. Don and Barbara McKee were married in 1951, and that same year, Don was drafted into the U. S. Marines. Don and Barb's marriage was blessed with one daughter, Valerie Donna. They lived in Anaheim and Don owned S A Trucking, a dry wall stocking company.

Don died at the West Anaheim Medical Center on Wed., April 22, 2009 at the age of 77 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Falk and husband Bill, and granddaughters, Jessica Dennler, and Lacey Boruff and her husband David, all of Carson; brothers, John Sargent and wife Wanda of Grand Island, NE, and Philip "Butch" Sargent and his wife Linda of Carson; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
