Donna D. Miller

Donna Diane Razor-Miller, one of four children of Geneen Carolyn (Kees) and Darrell Gene Petersen, was born on January 12, 1952 at Atlantic, Iowa. Donna grew up in the Atlantic area and graduated from Atlantic High School in 1971.

Donna and James Lee Razor were married in 1971 and made their home in Marne, Iowa. Their marriage was blessed with daughter, Hope Rae, and son, Kane Lee. Donna enjoyed being a homemaker and mother and caring for her children. Donna and Jamie later divorced.

Donna and Darrell Edwin Miller were married in July of 2001 and made their home in Sidney, Iowa. They had been married almost 10 years at the time of his death on May 13, 2011. Donna continued to make her home in Sidney. Among her enjoyments were reading, gardening, taking care of her lawn and flowers, and feeding the hummingbirds. She also loved listening to her police scanner. Donna especially loved her family and grandchildren and spending time with them.

Donna passed away at the Shenandoah, Iowa Medical Center on September 23, 2011, at the age of 59 years, 8 months, and 11 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Darrell Miller.

Donna is survived by her children, Hope Norstadt of Ashland, NE, and Kane Razor and wife Tina of Glenwood; Darrell's daughters, Aaron Harless and husband Ronnie, and Brooke Burgoin, all of Glenwood; nine grandchildren, Kiersten and April Norstadt, Damian Wakefield, Jaden, Page, and Chase Razor, Danny and Alysha Harless, and Tanner Teegarden; sisters, Diane Otte and husband Harley of Omaha, NE, and Darlene Herbert of Tempe, AZ; brother Darrell Petersen and wife Elena of Park City, MT; other relatives and friends.

A memorial fund has been established.
