Elaine Storm, 94 of Macedonia, IA, passed away April 29, 2017 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA.

FUNERAL SERVICE - 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Macedonia United Methodist Church. Burial in the Macedonia Cemetery.

VISITATION - two hour prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Memorials are directed to the American Cancer Society

Donna Elaine Storm, one of three daughters of Charles Evan and Georgia Lillian (Tournat) Tibbles, was born on April 1, 1923 in Macedonia, Iowa. She attended school and graduated from the Macedonia High School in 1941. After high school, Elaine attended a Des Moines, Iowa business school.

Elaine and Eldred Clark Storm were married on October 6, 1943 at the First Methodist Church in Omaha, Nebraska. They made their home in Macedonia and their marriage was blessed with four children, Roger, Corrine, Eileen and Felicia.

Elaine was a faithful member of the Macedonia United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and traveling. Elaine loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.

Elaine and Eldred were married 67 years when Eldred died on October 14, 2010.

Elaine passed away on April 29, 2017 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 94 years and 28 days. In addition to her beloved husband Eldred, she was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter Eileen Storm on April 22, 2017; and sister Doreen Mayberry and husband Wilbur.

Elaine is survived by her son Roger Storm and wife Carol of Omaha, NE; daughters, Corrine Storm of Macedonia; and Felicia Storm of Omaha; three grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister Ramona Smith of North Carolina; other relatives; and many friends.
