Earl Nosekabel Sr.

Earl Nosekabel Sr, 76, of Glenwood,IA passed away on Tuesday, June 24,2025 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Bloom Senior Center (20 N. Vine Street Glenwood, IA) Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Earl and his family.

Earl was born on December 6, 1948 in Malvern, IA, the son of Doyal and Mabel (Rexroat) Nosekabel. He attended school and worked as a car detailer at Best Finish Auto in Glenwood.

Earl and Nancy Irene Lewis were united in marriage on February 14, 1998 in Bartlett, IA.

Earl enjoyed cars, woodworking, and took much pride in his yardwork around his home. He was a wonderful husband, brother, father and grandfather and a good friend to all who knew him.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Christa Nosekabel; and brother Doyal Nosekabel Jr.

Earl is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years Nancy Nosekabel of Glenwood; children, Lisa Darnold (Mike) of Malvern, IA, Earl Nosekabel Jr (Karen Carnes) of Glenwood, Tracy Nosekabel (Lindsey) of Omaha, Jeff Nosekabel (Katie) of Huxley, IA, and Michaela Aldredge (Jamie) of Council Bluffs, IA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Mark Nosekabel (Heather) of Atlantic, IA, Dianna Fogelman (Brian) of Tea, SD, Shawn Nosekabel (Deb) of Glenwood, and Aaron Nosekabel of Glenwood; other relatives; and many special friends.
