Eileen Waltz, 48, of Red Oak, IA passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA.
CELEBRATION of LIFE will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church in Red Oak. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
VISITATION at the church will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.

OBITUARY
Eileen Marie Waltz, 48 of Red Oak, IA, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA.
Eileen was born on April 14, 1975 in Ft. Dodge, IA, the daughter of Jon Horace and Jane Roberta (Munson) Waltz. She graduated from Red Oak High School with the Class of 1994. Eileen continued her education, attending DMACC in Ankeny, IA, where she received her Associate's Degree. She was a childcare provider in Red Oak.
Eileen loved taking care of her daycare kids, mothering them all. Her pride and joy was her son Treyton Jon Waltz and enjoyed playing outdoors with him. She loved taking photos and spending time with her family and friends.
Eileen was preceded in death by her father Jon Waltz.
Eileen is survived by her son Treyton; mother Jane Waltz of Red Oak; brothers, Peter Waltz and wife Holly of Algona, IA, and Grant Waltz of West Des Moines, IA; nephew Harrison Waltz; niece Emerson Waltz; co-parent of Treyton, Lori Smithberg of Red Oak; and many special friends.
