Ella Martin, 67, of Glenwood, IA passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Randolph Cemetery.

OBITUARY

Ella Jean Martin, 67 of Glenwood, IA, passed away June 28, 2023 at CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE.
Ella was born on November 8, 1955 in Clarinda, IA, the daughter of Ervin James and Ella Marie (Matice) Houchin. She graduated from Fremont-Mills High School in 1973.
Ella and Edward Duane Martin were united in marriage on September 27, 1974 at the Methodist Church in Randolph.
Ella sold Avon products for over 40 years. She loved helping others at Christmas and made cookie trays to pass out to her friends and neighbors. Ella loved tending to her flowers.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ervin James "Jimmy" Houchin; and her sister Alice Winter.
Ella is survived by her husband Ed Martin of Glenwood; sisters, Kathy Grindle and husband Steve of Malvern, IA, and Mary Kalkas and husband Donnie of Shenandoah, IA, and their families; and other relatives and friends.
