Georgia Hascall

Georgia Hascall, 73, of Corning, IA passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Corning Specialty Care in Corning. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood with Pastor Jeff Schirle officiating. Burial will be at the Emerson Cemetery in Emerson, IA. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Georgia and her family.

Georgia Aileen Hascall daughter of Gordon and Carolyn (White) Hascall was born on October 22, 1951 in Red Oak, IA. She was raised on a farm near Emerson and graduated from Nishna Valley High School. She lived and worked in Glenwood from 1971 until 2009 working at various restaurants in Glenwood. She moved to Country Haven in Corning in 2009 and later moved to a group home in Corning. In April of 2023 she moved to Corning Specialty Care. She loved her pet cat and enjoyed stuffed animals.

Georgia is preceded in death by her parents; brother Edwin Hascall and his wife Betty; sister Grace and her husband John Lewellen.

Georgia is survived by her brothers Kirk Hascall and his wife Linda of Emerson, Harold Hascall and his wife Carol of Liberty, MO, Donald Hascall and his wife Cheryl of Ogden, IA; sister Carol Ray and her husband Earl of Louisana, MO; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of many special friends.
