Joyce Haviland

Joyce Mildred Haviland, one of four children of Mildred Mae (Bartlett) and Joy Ulysses Williamson, was born in Omaha, Nebraska on February 3, 1939.
Joyce and William Howard Haviland of Clark Fork, Idaho were married at Independence, MO on April 8, 1957. They made their home in Omaha and were blessed with their seven children William, Robert, Howard, Richard, Kenneth, LaDonna, and Gordon. Joyce enjoyed her role as a homemaker as their family lived in numerous areas of the country.
Joyce and William moved to Malvern and had been married 39 years when William died in 1996. Joyce later moved to her son Gordon's home in Malvern to live with his family. She loved all her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Joyce died at the University of Nebraska Medical Center on January 25, 2004 having attained the age of 64 years, 11 months, and 12 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William Haviland; son Richard Haviland; brother Richard Williamson; and sister Joan Kerns. She is survived by her children William Haviland of Malvern, Robert Haviland and his wife Kathy of Beatty, NV, Howard Haviland and his wife Linda of Parsons, KS, Kenneth Haviland of Ceourd' Alene, ID, LaDonna Haviland of Benton City, WA, and Gordon Haviland and his wife Addie of Malvern; brother Sonny Williamson and his wife of St. Joseph, MO; 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
