Larry Max Haney

Larry Max Haney, one of five children of Bonnie Maxine (Dalrymple) and Paul Haney, was born on January 29, 1950 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He grew up and attended schools in Malvern.

Larry worked at the Manor of Malvern as a health care provider for about six years until he became disabled by diabetes and emphysema. He eventually moved to the Malvern Village where he lived for many years. Larry liked to read and especially enjoyed watching television and had quite a collection of old movies on video.

In 2007, due to declining health, Larry moved to Tabor Manor in Tabor, Iowa. Larry passed away on May 7, 2008 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa. He had attained the age of 58 years, 3 months and 8 days.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Shirley Christine Haney and Alice Kay Haney; and his brother Paul Edgar Haney. He is survived by his sister Donna Lorraine Haney of Malvern, Iowa and sister-in-law Ruth Haney of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
