Levajane Jorgensen, 72 of Glenwood, IA, passed away at her home on November 2, 2019. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Bible Baptist Church in Glenwood with Pastor Ben Quinlan officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Loess Hills Funeral Home of Glenwood in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Bible Baptist Church OBITUARY Levajane Jorgensen, 72 of Glenwood, passed away at her home on November 2, 2019. Levajane was born on January 5, 1947 in Manning, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Verna (Crouch) Griffin. She graduated from high school and attended college, receiving her associate's degree. Levajane worked as a receptionist in a medical office. She lived in Carlisle, Iowa before moving to Glenwood, Iowa in 2017. Levajane was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Glenwood. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but most of the time you could find her crocheting. Levajane was preceded in death by her parents; husband Garry Jorgensen Sr.; and daughter Eve Ackerson. Levajane is survived by her children, Mary Craft of Glenwood, Paula (Jim) Cunningham of Phoenix, AZ, David (Kim) Kyle of Polk City, IA, and Adam (Mary) Kyle of Missouri Valley, IA; 19 grandchildren;and her siblings, Jerry (Daisy) Griffin of East Moline IL, Bill Griffin of Tipton, IA, Tom Griffin of Cedar Rapids, Doreen (Al) Viall of Elk River, MN, Kathy Peterson (John) of Hudson, IA, and Jeff Griffin (Rhonda) of Solon, IA.
