Loretta Jean Fisher

Loretta Fisher, 83, of Glenwood, IA, passed away on February 19, 2019 at the Glen Haven Home in Glenwood. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood with Pastor Susan Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Martin Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood.

Loretta Jean Griffiths, one of five children of Eva (Hite) and Isaac Griffiths was born on April 17, 1935 in Hastings, IA.
Loretta married Clarence Fisher on February 2, 1952 in Rockport, MO. The couple was blessed with a daughter Cheryl.
Loretta enjoyed doing various crafts, sewing, and needle work, going on walks, but most of all she loved her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence; sister, Carolyn Griffiths; and brother, Richard Griffiths.
Loretta is survived by her daughter, Cheryl and her husband, David of Glenwood; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Janice Timmerman of Spring Hill, KS; brother, Jim Griffiths of Lincoln, NE; other relatives and a host of very special friends.
