Louise Horn

Louise Horn, 80, of Council Bluffs and former Carson resident passed away on Friday December 27, 2024 at the Midlands Living Center in Council Bluffs. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at the Carson Cemetery with Pastor Jacque Manirakiza officiating. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson is caring for Louise.

Louise Elvira Horn was born on January 3, 1944 in Council Bluffs, IA, the daughter of William James and Grace Elsie (Taladay) Horn. She grew up in Carson,IA where she graduated from Carson-Macedonia in 1963. Louise worked at Iowa Western Community College in the Dietary Department for nine years before taking a job in the kitchen at Bluffs Run.
Louise was a member of the Carson United Methodist Church.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents.
Louise is survived by her relatives and a host of many special friends.
