Liz Eflin

Marie "Liz" Eflin, 90, of Crested Butte,CO/Naples,FL passed away on Friday, March 29, 2025 at her son's home in Glenwood. Services will be held at a later date in Crested Butte, CO. Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center in Glenwood is caring for Liz and her family.

Marie Elisabeth Eflin, daughter of Franz Karl and Anneliese (Neudorff) Etzel, was born on March 7, 1935 in Berlin, Germany. She married Richard Stanley Eflin on August 8, 1959 near Munich, Germany. The couple moved to the United States in 1960. They were blessed with two sons, Richard and Andrew Thomas.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and brother, Hans Etzel.

Liz is survived by her sons, Richard Eflin and his wife Karla of Glenwood, IA and Andrew Thomas Eflin and his wife Stephanie of Gunnison, CO; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren with another one on the way; other relatives and a host of many special friends,
