Mary Storm

Mary Dorothy Storm, one of four children of Lorenc and Mary (Sezman) Toth, was born on August 5, 1916 in Toledo, Ohio. She grew up and went to school in the Birmingham section of Toledo, OH.

Mary and William Edwin Storm were married in September of 1938 in Toledo, they were married 62 years when he died in January of 2001. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Richard William, William Charles, and Kathleen Lynette.

Mary worked as a sales clerk at Lamson Department Store, downtown until they closed and retired from JC Penney's in Toledo. She was active at the Eleanor M. Kahle Senior Center until 2003, when she moved to Omaha, NE to live with her son Dick and wife Dianne. In 2004, they moved to Hastings, IA to be closer to her granddaughter, Andrea and husband Ryan Goy. Mary enjoyed her great-grandchildren and socializing with her family and friends.

Mary entered the Alegent Health Hospice House in Omaha, Nebraska on March 5, 2009 and entered into eternal rest on March 11, 2009, at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 6 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William; brothers, Frank Toth, Larry Toth and wife Mary, and George Toth and wife Helen.

Mary is survived by her sons, Dick Storm and wife Dianne of Hastings, Iowa and Bill Storm and wife Patsy of Naperville, Illinois; daughter Kathy Wenninger of Toledo, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
