Mildred Shaw, 75, of Glenwood, IA passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood, IA. Visitation for the family to greet friends will be held prior to the funeral beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Hunter Cemetery in Rock Port, MO. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Mildred and her family.

Mildred Susan Shaw, 75 of Glenwood, IA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
Mildred was born on June 6, 1950 in Mansfield, MO, the daughter of Ralph and Augusta (Wallace) Lansdown. She worked as a CNA and was employed at the Glenwood Resource Center for 40 years until her retirement in 2013.
Mildred and Jerial Shaw were united in marriage on March 8, 1967 in Fairfax, MO. They were blessed with two daughters, Marla and Cyndi. The couple eventually divorced but remained friends through the years.
Mildred enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, crafting, shopping, taking care of her flower bed, visiting Walt Disney World, and decorating cakes. She loved and adored her grandkids.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Luther Lansdown and Eugene Lansdown; and sister Wanda Hampshire.
Mildred is survived by her daughters, Marla (Tom) Hansen of Glenwood, and Cynthia (Jodi) Shaw of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Ryan Hansen (Alysha), Kaleb Hansen and his child (her great grandchild) Blu Hansen, Hannah White (Kamron), and Emily Shaw (fiancé Alex Morrison); brothers, Bob Lansdown, Sam Lansdown, and James Lansdown, all of Rock Port, MO; former husband Jerial; and many special friends.
