Nancy Anglen

Nancy Anglen, 65 of Pacific Junction, IA, passed away August 11, 2018 in Pacific Junction. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Glenwood Ward (located at 21919 Elderberry Ave, Glenwood). Burial will be in the Martin Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Nancy Dale Anglen, one of 7 children of Edward Howard and Leanna Marie (Fisher) Janssen, was born on August 22, 1952 in Pacific Junction at her grandmother's home. She was employed as a chef at Pacific Place for many years.

On May 1, 1971 Nancy was joined in marriage with Ralph Wayne Anglen. During their marriage they were blessed with four children, Jason, Melissa, Daisy, and Pete. From those four children she recieved nine more blessings in the form of grandchildren. (Wesley, Zach, Austin, Ivy, Camryn, Pete II, Shayla, Dalaynee and Ian)

Nancy was a member of the LDS Church - Glenwood Ward. She enjoyed cooking, painting, and crocheting. Nancy loved arts and crafts and spent much time working on her projects. She enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts. Nancy was always on the lookout for Coca Cola memorabilia to add to her collection. Her family, especially her precious grandchildren, gave her much love, joy, and wonderful memories.

Nancy passed away at her Pacific Junction, Iowa home on August 11, 2018 at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 19 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mary Lou, in infancy.

Nancy is survived by her children, Jason (Lisa) Anglen of Pacific Junction, Melissa Eledge of Council Buffs, IA, Daisy Anglen of Council Bluffs, and Pete (Denise) Anglen of Pacific Junction; nine grandchildren; siblings, Lulu (Frank) Truhlicka of Fargo, ND, Caleb (Elida) Janssen of Port Orange, FL, Lola (Harry) Michaelsen of Pacific Junction, Loyd (Brigitte) Janssen of Pacific Junction, and Leonard (Tracey) Janssen of Niceville, FL; nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
