Nancy Ann Mulholland

Nancy Mulholland, 77, of Glenwood, IA, formerly of Malvern, IA, passed away February 28, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona. Per Nancy's wishes, cremation has taken place.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Malvern Cemetery.

Nancy Ann Mulholland, one of two daughters of Willard and Anna Louise (Antrim) Wright, was born on September 13, 1937 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She graduated from Glenwood High School in 1955. After graduation she attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

Nancy married Gordon Mulholland on May 12, 1957 and together they had two children, Tim and Tom. They lived all of their married life in Malvern, Iowa. Gordon and Nancy were co-owners of Mulholland Grocery and Nancy helped Gordon in the grocery store.

Nancy and Gordon were married for 48 years when Gordon passed away on March 19, 2006. After Gordon's death, Nancy purchased a home in Glenwood. She enjoyed spending the winter months in her home in Mesa, Arizona.

Nancy loved gardening and raising cactus. She was a member of the Malvern Garden Club, Glenwood Garden Club, and the Omaha Cactus Club. Nancy was very proud to be a Master Gardener. She served for many years on the Malvern Library Board. Nancy was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan and was an avid collector of baseball memorabilia.

Nancy passed away at age 77 in Mesa, Arizona on February 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Gordon.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Tim Mulholland and his wife Asta and their children, Muir, Aras, and Julija Mulholland, all of Fitchburg, WI and Tom Mulholland and his wife Deanne of Malvern and their daughter Amanda DeGroote and her husband Andrew and their daughter Addison of Norwalk, IA; sister Wilma Ring of Glenwood; sister-in-law Sally Burgess of Rapid City, SD; brother-in-law Edward Mulholland and wife Jacqueline of Malvern; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
