Pauline Eisenmann

Pauline Elenore Eisenmann, one of eight children of Heinrich Paul and Ottillie Henrietta (Schneck) Freidrich, was born April 13, 1909 at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Pauline grew up in Council Bluffs and attended Thomas Jefferson School where she graduated in 1927. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs.

Pauline and Ben Frank Spindler were united in marriage on December 14, 1929 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Ben was in the U. S. Navy and they made their home in Omaha, Nebraska for one year before moving to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1937, Pauline and Ben returned to Omaha. Pauline worked at various jobs to help support the family. Ben and Pauline were blessed with three children, Clara Helen, Pauline B., and Bernard Henry. They had been married 22 years at the time of Ben's death on March 18, 1951. Pauline continued to live in Omaha.

Pauline and Ben G. Eisenmann met at a gathering for single persons in Omaha. They were united in marriage on October 21, 1952 and lived in the Omaha area. Pauline and Ben enjoyed attending horse races and state fairs. On April 13, 1995, due to failing health, Pauline moved to the AkSarBen Manor in Omaha and Ben later moved to the Manor of Malvern in Malvern, Iowa. Pauline and Ben had been married 42 years when Ben died on June 7, 1995. Following Ben's death, Pauline moved to the Manor of Malvern on June 8, 1995. She died at the Manor on March 4, 2004 at the age of 94 years, 10 months, and 21 days.

Pauline was preceded in death by her brothers Henry J. Freidrich and Herman H. Freidrich; sisters Mrs. Anna May, Mrs. Emma Bradford, Mrs. Tillie Brungardt, Mrs. Elizabeth Cross, and Miss Alma Freidrich; her parents; son Bernard H. Spindler in 1983; husbands Ben Frank Spindler and Ben G. Eisenmann; sons-in-law Gordon L. Allen and Bob Kruger. She is survived by her daughters Clara Kruger of Franklin, TN and Pauline Allen of Emerson, IA; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
