Richard Hedrick, 92, of Silver City, IA passed at his home in Silver City on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Services will be held at a later date. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Richard and his family.

OBITUARY
Richard Darrell Hedrick, 92 of Silver City, IA, passed away at his home on March 13, 2025.
Richard was born on January 18, 1933 in Woodbine, IA, the son of Beaty Delbert and Matilda Jane (Sprinkle) Hedrick. He graduated from high school and served in the United States Army (1951-1955). Richard worked several jobs during his life, Armor Packing Plant, handling baggage at Greyhound, and delivery driver for Meadow Gold before working at a farm hand for various farmers.
Richard and Donna Maureen Mann were united in marriage on August 27, 1955 in Woodbine. They were blessed with five children, Terry, Jon, James, Joseph and Jeffrey.
Richard enjoyed working around his home.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife Donna in 2021; and sons, Jeffrey, James and Joseph.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Terry Hedrick of Silver City; son, Jon Hedrick of Council Bluffs, IA; brothers, Frank Hedrick and Lee Hedrick, both of Council Bluffs; other relatives and a host of friends.
