Rob Henderson

Robert Gene Henderson, one of three sons of Ronald Gene Henderson and Carol Joan (McKenzie) Henderson, was born on February 10, 1965 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He grew up in Carson, Iowa and graduated from Carson High School in 1983. He attended Peru State College in Peru, Nebraska. He moved to Olathe, Kansas in 1985, and later to De Soto, Kansas where he worked for Thayne Riffel Painting.

Rob and Andrea Marie Pickering of Paola, Kansas were united in marriage at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Kansas on July 1, 1990. They were blessed with two daughters, Robyn Marie and Rita Jean. The couple later divorced. In 2005, Rob returned to Carson where he worked for Steve Hart Painting.

Rob died unexpectedly on June 25, 2009 in Treynor, Iowa. He had attained the age of 44 years, 4 months, and 15 days. He was preceded in death by his father, Ron Henderson in 2002, and his grandparents, Roy and Georgia Henderson and Carl and Norma McKenzie.

Rob is survived by his two daughters, Robyn Henderson and her son Ryan, and Rita Henderson, all of Lawrence, Kansas; mother Carol Gravett and husband Roy of Carson; companion Marynel Tibbles of Treynor; brothers, Rod Henderson and wife Sheryl of Treynor, and Rhett Henderson and wife Lindsey of Oakland, Iowa; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Burial in Wheeeler Grove Cemetery.
