Shirley Warren, 65, of Bellevue, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue.

Shirley Jane Warren, daughter of Lester James and Opal May (Jackson) Hird, was born in Jasper County, Missouri on April 25, 1948.

Shirley and Jerry Lee Warren, son of John Arthur and Myrtle Lena (Baker) Warren, were married on July 15, 2005 in Glenwood, Iowa and made their home in Bellevue, Nebraska.

Shirley worked as an in-home caretaker. She loved spending time with family and friends. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Shirley passed away at the Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue on October 8, 2013, at the age of 65 years, 5 months, and 13 days. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley is survived by her husband Jerry Warren of Bellevue; children, Sherry Timmer and husband Dan, and Lee Good, all of Marshalltown, IA, Shelly Owens and Kevin Durham of Council Bluffs, IA, and Teresa Moore-Torix of Bakersfield, CA; stepchildren, Gerald Warren, Ronald Warren, John Warren, Gary Warren, Pamela Frieburger, and Kevin Warren; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; a sister Marilyn; and many friends.
