Steven Stogdill 57, of Omaha, NE, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at UNMC in Omaha.

Private Family Graveside Services for Steven, his father Gerald (passed away September 11, 2024) and his late mother Lenora (passed away on July 28, 2024) will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in the Mineola Cemetery, Mineola, IA.

Following the graveside service, an open visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Silver City American Legion Post 439 in Silver City.

Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Steven, Gerald and Lenora and their family.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Silver City Legion, Silver City Legion Auxiliary, or Silver City Historical Society

Steven Andrew Stogdill, 57 of Omaha, NE, passed away on September 7, 2024 at UNMC in Omaha.
Steven was born on August 23, 1967 in Cedar Rapids, IA, one of three children of Gerald Herbert and Lenora Mathilda (Techau) Stogdill. He grew up in Glenwood, IA, graduating from the Glenwood High School with the class of 1985. Steven worked in the food industry in Iowa and Nebraska.
Steven enjoyed the theater, the arts, and acting at the Mills Masquers in Glenwood. He was an avid reader. Steven loved to fish, watch football, listen to music, and get into discussions on politics.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Lenora Stogdill; and sister, Lisa Kaufman.
Steven is survived by his father Gerald Stogdill of Silver City, IA; brother Ron Stogdill and wife Teresa of Lincoln, NE; brother-in-law Curt Kaufman of Glenwood; one niece and six nephews; other relatives and several special friends.
