Stevie (Rockwell) Oman, 35 of Glenwood, IA, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Celebration of Life Gathering for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory, 1221 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Stevie and her family.

A 2nd Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the Eagles Club, 426 1st Street in Glenwood, Iowa, on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 12 Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Memorials: Per the family's request, in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for daughter Isabelle.

Obituary

Stevie Marie Rockwell was born on October 8, 1989 in Council Bluffs, IA, the daughter of Cynthia Jo Nelson.

Stevie graduated from high school, continuing her education and obtained her Master’s Degree. She was a program coordinator at Children’s Hospital in Omaha.

Stevie and Brandon Michael Oman were married on August 28, 2021.

Stevie enjoyed camping and kayaking. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye football fan. Her pride and joy was her beautiful daughter Izzy. Stevie was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mom, and a good friend to all who knew and loved her.

Stevie was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jimmy Nelson, and her husband Brandon Oman.

Stevie is survived by her 8 year old daughter Isabelle; mother Cindy Langle of Glenwood; father Ned Nelson of Council Bluffs, IA; brother Travis Rockwell (Sara) of Pacific Junction, IA; maternal grandmother Isabelle Bolter of Council Bluffs; Brandon’s family; other relatives; her hospital coworkers; and many special friends.
