Suzanne Saint

Suzanne Marie Saint, 79 of Bellevue, NE, peacefully passed away at her daughter's home in Glenwood, IA on Sunday, December 22, 2024. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at the Croatian Cultural Society (8711 S 36th St) in Bellevue. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood, IA is caring for Suzanne and her family.

Suzanne was born on October 7, 1945 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Delbert and Ann (Milobar) Mathews. She worked as a hairdresser. She married Dennis Saint on May 26, 1974 and the couple was blessed with four children; Stephanie, Denice, Terry and Jerry.
Suzanne enjoyed doing hair, having a special talent for it. She also enjoyed doing ceramics, crafting, and going to garage sales. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved being with her family, who were her pride and joy.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Dennis; grandson, Austin; and siblings Jerry Mathews, Luanne Hrupek, Tom Mathews, and Kathy O’Leary.
Suzanne is survived by her children, Stephanie Keene (David) of Glenwood, IA, Denice Johnson of Council Bluffs, IA, Terry Saint (Melinda Brown) of Bellevue, NE, and Jerry Saint (Colleen) of Destin, FL; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren (with another on the way); siblings, Jennifer Sampson of Bellevue, NE, Terry Mathews (Kendra) of Omaha, NE, David Mathews of Omaha, NE and Scott Mathews (Shelly) of Glenwood, IA; other relatives; and many special friends.
