Tara Kay Hofmockel, 74 of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Northcrest Living Center in Council Bluffs.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Glenwood Cemetery with Pastor Kimberly Bowles officiating.

Tara Kay Hofmockel, 74 of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Northcrest Living Center in Council Bluffs.
Tara was born on June 5, 1950 in Council Bluffs, one of four children of Harold Roll and Verla Joan (Seitz) Hofmockel. She grew up in Glenwood, IA and graduated from Glenwood High School with the class of 1968. She attended college and had worked as a teacher’s aide.
Tara was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Verla; and brother Charles Hofmockel.
Tara is survived by her sister Kathy McLuen and husband Roy of Seattle, WA; brother Jack Hofmockel and wife Melissa of Council Bluffs; sister-in-law Cindy Hofmockel of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
