Vicki McClintic

Vicki McClintic, 80, of Glenwood, IA, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE. A Celebration of Life gather will be held on Friday, November 7,2025 with the family to greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood. There will be food and refreshments during this time in the fellowship hall to share the wonderful memories of Vicki. Loess Hills

Vicki Winn, daughter of John Oliver “J.O.” and June Weisenborn Winn, was born on November 9, 1944, in Macon, MO. She graduated from Macon High School with the Class of 1962. Vicki moved to Glenwood in 1977. On March 30, 1991, she married Melvin McClintic in Glenwood. She worked at the Mills County Courthouse in the Recorder’s Office for more than 20 years, retiring in 2015.

Vicki was active and committed to her sorority for several decades. She enjoyed playing bridge with her many bridge groups, reading a good book, going to the movies and theater, traveling to Florida to visit her sisters, spending time with family, and, most of all, watching her grandkids in their many activities.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mel, of Glenwood, IA; son Kyle Leath and his wife, Ami, of Glenwood; daughter Aimee Will and her husband, Matt, of Columbia, MO; stepdaughters Jenni Winston and her husband, DeMond, of Farmington, MN, and Jill McClintic and her husband, Aaron Hoppe, of Eden Prairie, MN; stepson Matt McClintic and his wife, Angela, of Lakeville, MN; nine grandchildren—Ryan, Kaitlin, Tyler, Stella, Sarra, Tyler, Oliver, Jayden, and Carson; sisters Lucinda Winn and her husband, Don Cooper, of St. Augustine, FL, and Joni Silveria and her husband, Rich, of Ashton, MA; along with other relatives and many special friends.
