William Parson

William “Bill” Parson, 83, of Pacific Junction, IA passed away at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood. Visitation for family to greet friends will be held prior to the funeral beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Chambers Cemetery in rural Fremont County. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Bill and his family.

Memorials:In lieu of flowers memorials will be directed to the family.

William Earl Parson one of four children of Earl and Mary (Cooper) Parson was born on February 25,1943 in Hannibal, MO. He graduated from Sidney High School with the Class of 1963. He was an over-the-road truck driver for over 33 years. Bill moved to Pacific Junction in 1990.
Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles, anything that involved carpentry and working with wood, and was an avid hunter, most of all enjoyed spending time with family and especially his grandkids and great grandkids.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; brother David Parson and sister Patricia Parson.
Bill is survived by his children Cheryl Hultberg of Omaha, NE, Chad Parson and his wife Renee of Bellingham, WA, Christine Betts and her husband William, Ryan Parson and his wife Sara Parson of LaVista, NE, Amanda Frederick and her husband Adam of Minneapolis, MN, and Justin Parson of Pacific Junction, IA;12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother Phillip and his wife Rosemary Parson of Lee Summit, MO; other relatives and a host of friends.
